TRAP SHOOTS
We are opening back up April 18, 2023 and shoot till mid-November on Tuesday night’s beginning at 6:00 P.M.
The last Tuesday of each month we set one trap up for the different types of shooting.
We are also open on Sunday’s beginning at 1:00 year round, some holidays and weather dependent. Both days are open to the public and the cost is $6.00 per round and $3.00 for children under 16.
Safety is everyone’s responsibility, any unsafe act or firearm will not be permitted. If using an auto loading shotgun a shell catcher is recommended to keep hulls from hitting person at the next station. We can provide someone to walk through the event for first time shooters.
We require shot size of 7.5 to 9
Bring your own gun and shells. We welcome shooters of all skill levels.
We highly recommend eye and ear protection for all shooters.
Automatic Trap
We have 1 self-serve automatic trap field. You must purchase a prepaid card in the club house for $20. Each round is $7, you can load as many rounds on the card as you would like. Each round includes 27 clay targets, please see Tim Kelly for questions.
We have two trap fields capable of throwing standard size clay targets (120 mm). They can be set up for multiple uses, standard 16 yard to 27 yard handicap shots, doubles and international or some call it wobble. Both fields are lighted for night shooting.
Machine operation is by club members that have been trained for safe loading and changes and not for the general membership. However all help is appreciated.
